Overview

2 Days Gorilla safari in Uganda starts from Kigali in Rwanda driving to Bwindi forest with 1 night over night in Bwindi national park and ends back in Rwanda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi impenetrable forest.

Meet and pick up from the Kigali airport or your Hotel by the company guide you will then be transferred to Bwindi impenetrable forest where you will stay the night. On arrival check into the hotel and have a night’s sleep at the lodge Gorilla mist camp / Gorilla valley lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali.

You will rise early have breakfast and head to the trekking point with your packed breakfast and drinking water. On arrival at the briefing point you will be briefed before you head to the forest to trek the amazing gorillas. You will then penetrate the forest with accompaniment of the ranger guides and then start the search for the gorillas; it will take you some time according to the movements of the gorillas the previous night, on finding them you will have an hour to view the gorillas up close as they play feed each other.

The trek is strenuous but worthwhile. Take as many pictures as you can to keep the memory and thereafter exit the forest back to the headquarters for certificate awarding. Then head back to the car where the driver will be waiting for you to transfer you back to Kigali. This will mark the end of your trip.
