The two and a half-hour journey to Tarangire on good paved roads provides a glimpse of the untamed splendor that awaits.
Tarangire National Park is known for its abundant wildlife, particularly the enormous elephant herds that wander the region. During the dry season, you could see these gorgeous creatures gathering by the river to drink or cool down. The park is also a bird lover’s paradise, with over 500 different bird species.
These old trees, which are critical to the ecology, provide shelter for bees, birds, and bats, provide nutritious fruit, and serve as an important water supply during the dry season.
You will have lunch at a picnic area within the park, followed by a wildlife drive. After that, you will be transferred to your lodging near the park for a relaxing evening.
Accommodation: Kitela Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet diverse reserve. This park offers a unique wilderness experience, with ecosystems ranging from the Rift Valley soda lake to thick woods and steep slopes.
Beyond its breathtaking surroundings, Lake Manyara is well-known for its unique tree-climbing lions and the elephant populations it was established to protect. The lake’s shoreline are a birdwatcher’s delight, with over 400 bird species, including numerous waterfowl and migratory birds. You will also see vast herds of buffalo, cheetahs, Masai giraffes, and impalas along the lakeside and on the wooded valley slopes.

The Serengeti is a wonder, known for its vast plains that provide excellent animal watching. While it is home to a wide variety of species, it is most known for the Great Migration. This park has a remarkable array of species, making it the finest place to watch predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action.
You may go on early morning and late afternoon game drives, returning to camp for lunch, or do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.
