This 6-day Tanzania Wildlife Safari takes you deep into the heart of some of Africa’s most recognized national parks, including Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. During the adventure trip, you will meet Tanzania’s rich animals and magnificent scenery.

Tarangire National Park is well-known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Serengeti National Park for its annual wildebeest migration and diverse wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, and Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for its stunning caldera and dense wildlife population, which includes the Big Five.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the Airport, where your driver guide shall be waiting to warmly receive and welcome you to this beautiful country Tanzania. After a brief orientation with the driver guide, you will head to your accommodation in Arusha for relaxation and overnight stay before embarking on your safari the next day.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation and taken on an excursion to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its baobab trees and plentiful wildlife, including enormous elephant herds.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodging. After lunch, head into the park for an exciting game drive in search of animals. From the vehicle’s open roof, you will see seasonal marshes, savanna, and the Tarangire River, which is teeming with animals such as giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and a variety of birds.

Later, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, we will set off on our exploration adventure to Serengeti National Park, passing via the magnificent highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descending from the highlands, we will enter the Serengeti National Park, where the plains spread as far as the eye can see. We will arrive in time for lunch and leisure. After that, take an afternoon game drive across the park to enjoy Africa’s famous savannah scenery and wonder at the large number of animals that live on these grassy plains.

The Serengeti National Park is well-known for its yearly migration, in which hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras travel in search of new grass and water. Later in the evening, drive to your lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

You will wake up early and have a hearty breakfast before beginning our full day of wildlife drives in the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you could see the Great Migration, in which millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of new grazing sites.

You will witness a variety of creatures, including wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, and hyenas, as well as the different ecosystems that sustain such a broad range of wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue exploring till dark.

Later in the evening, head to your lodge for a relaxing meal and overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Following breakfast, you will go on your final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later in the day, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. When you approach the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking vista of the huge crater below.

Descend into the crater for an afternoon game drive, where you can spot the Big Five. Later, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater and Departure

After breakfast, you will begin your last day with a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater to see the vivid wildlife, including the Big Five. After an exciting game viewing adventure, return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro National Park to catch your next flight.
