Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Rushaga Sector.
Certainly one of the most interesting days on your safari. On this day, you will be tracking gorillas. Breakfast will be served early, and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 7 a.m. Your guide will highlight key characteristics about the gorillas you’ll be tracking. The hike can last anywhere from one to seven hours. Trekking over the high, densely forested slopes and eventually stumbling upon the gorillas hidden in the jungle is an inspirational and fortunate experience. Once you arrive at the gorillas, you have one hour to spend with them while standing 6 meters away.
You will drive you back to the lodge where you can relax in the afternoon or go for another walk to visit one of the communities around.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Tracking, Nkuringo Sector
Today we embark on a second day of gorilla trekking in a different region, returning to the briefing place following an early breakfast. Once the gorillas are discovered, our small group will have a maximum of one hour with them. The experience of gorilla trekking in Uganda is one of the world’s truly remarkable wildlife experiences; looking into one of these majestic creatures’ eyes reveals the relationship that exists between them and humans. The hour frequently passes far too fast, and we slowly return to our lodge to recount the day’s events.
Overnight at Lake Mutanda Resort.
